1959 Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut TV Yellow. These are extremely prone to heel repairs due to the placement of the neck pickup. Gibson later moves the neck pickup, but in my opinion the tone is much worse on the later ones. This had a very slight heel separation (1/10") when the previous owner acquired it. It was glued back with hot hide glue. So the lacquer around the heel has cracked, but I see no actual damage to the wood of the heel, body or neck pickup route area. This guitar is 100% original and sounds amazing. The pickups are nice and balanced with each other which is difficult to find on this model. Big early 59 neck is a joy to play. Plenty of life on the original frets. Just pro setup it is playing great. Comes with a reissue Lifton case. I do have a period correct brown/pink Lifton case I can include with this guitar for an upcharge (message me if interested).
