Vintage 1963-1964 Fender Jazzmaster "Mint Green" Pickguard
Correct for your mid 1960's Jazzmaster - this guard is the VERY rare "Mint Green" variety - these are super rare as the vast majority of early 60's Jazzmasters got "Tortoise" Celluloid guards. The uber-rare Custom Color examples got these "green" guards - which started out white but turned to this lovely shade over time. These are highly sought-after and if you're restoring a PRE-CBS custom-color Jazzmaster, this is the guard you need!
This amazing example includes it's original screws and "Kaiser" shield with the original wax-pen inspection initial. There is one small split coming off one of the the circuit control openings, as pictured. This guard has a very small amount of "shrinkage" (which is very common for these" - and will require some patience and TLC to mount, but once it's installed look out, Nothing looks as cool as a real-deal vintage Green Guard!
