These guitars are absolutely incredible and in our opinion still grossly undervalued, though that's another cup of coffee. This mid year example is in excellent cosmetic and perfect functioning condition. It is sonically open and aggressive offering the player an array of musical capabilities. There is very light checking and less than a handful of imperfections from decades of light and responsible use. The factory frets remain extremely strong, this example surely had flat wounds on it the majority of its life. The sealed PAF's (double black) are musical and expressive, they read 8.01 N & 8.48 B. The neck measures .85 @1st & .97 @12th and 1 11/16ths at the nut. Perfect med 59 profile!
The only knock keeping this Burst killer from being absolutely mint is it had a sideways tailpiece on at some point in its history leaving 4 screw holes at the end pin that have not been filled or touched up in anyway (see pic).
All of the hardware, plastics and case remain in equally excellent condition.
The tuners have been re-buttoned.
