2008 Hamer Talladega from Hamer's period of highest quality in New Hartford, Connecticut. An extraordinary guitar with one piece mahogany body, mostly hollowed, with some structural blocks, carved flame maple top, maple neck with hefty v profile and rosewood fingerboard, 25.5 inch scale length, a return to the sustain block bridge from the early Hamers. Little to no fret wear. The pickups were custom designed by Seymour Duncan exclusively for this guitar. The guitar sounds wonderful. The neck pickup can sound very Strat like. The bridge pickup has a beefy Tele quality. The four position switch adds a rich but clear series setting. Stretched notes ring forever. I could go on and on. It is a very sophisticated instrument. Comes in original Hamer case with case candy. If you aren't familiar with this model Hamer, read the reviews. There is no other guitar out there like it.
