The guitar also boasts the rare 1968 specific pickguard.TONENot only is this one of the cleanest Gibsons around, but we all know the ES-335 has massive versatility—throw any genre at it and it can do it. And with those smooth sixties era patent number pickups, nothing is sacrificed. Bell like clean tones and creamy overdriven tones, this guitar is your Swiss Army knife of music. PLAYABILITYWhether it be lead or rhythm, I can easily glide up and down the neck. And don’t let the lore about the skinny ‘60s necks scare you. As a fat fingered guitar player, the carve of the neck is extremely comfortable.CONDITIONAll but two small dents in the finish (pictured) and minimal swirling, this is among the cleanest late sixties Gibsons you will ever come across. Owned by a single family previous to me, this remained in a case, virtually its whole life. No repairs, no swapped parts, just vintage beauty.There is minimal play wear evident.
