Reeves Electro Facet VX - Vox Tone-bender

Reeves Electro - Facet VX T/Bender - Vintage Transistor Fuzz with trim control. Lightly used in smoke free home studio. Never stepped on, used on desktop pedalboard. No Issues at all, works as it should. Also includes the original solid & add on clear back to see the pedal guts.  I’m just not a Tone Bender guy.  Manufacturer description: 

The Facet VX is a silicon tonal clone of the V0X T/Bender. This was the two-transistor fuzz that succeeded the V0x Distortion booster in 1966.

Built around a matched pair of very old Philips BC549C silicon transistors, these high gain devices produce a bright and biting tone. 

Within the Facet range it has the least bass output, but don't let that deter you, as it makes up for that with a tone that cuts through even the noisiest mix. Consider it the Treble Booster of the fuzz world. Continuing the Daughterboard PCB style. Izzy basically told me what she wanted to hear and like any good Dad I did as I was asked (told).

Controls are Fuzz, Vol and Trim. Fuzz and Vol are Pretty much self-explanatory, but the trim has some hidden magic - This controls the pedals input resistance. Fully clockwise the control is out of the circuit, so as you turn the knob anti clockwise it will increase the input impedance and reduce the saturation at the output. This is useful for many reasons, such as playing high output pickups or running a wah pedal before the fuzz. It can also be used to take the edge off the saturation and help with clean-up from the guitar volume and fatness. it still does a great job still keeping its dynamics intact as you turn down your guitar volume.
