This is a FANTASTIC Selmer Mark VI Alto Saxophone with ORIGINAL SILVER! The Selmer Mark VI is an icon of modern saxophone playing, being the instrument of choice for jazz greats by the score. This one is a terrific player and is from the 5-digit period (SN 83278) that the very best of these instruments come from. Year of manufacture is cira 1959. Silver plate is original and about 95-99% present - looks gorgeous.
This instrument has just had a complete overhaul in our shop that included replacement of all pads, and it is ready to roast. Neck is original but has no serial number as this horn was made for European distribution. Listing includes case, but no mouthpiece with this one.
