Very good overall condition H.H. Scott Alpha 1 preamplifier just recently checked out and put back in rotation. This amp was professionally totally recapped at the beginning of 2025. Been using this daily for about a week now with no operational issues. It does, however have 3 of the switches/levers that are noisy and will need cleaned/repaired (hi filter, low filter, selector turn switch between tuner and phono 1 and phono 1 and phono2, and mic mixer switch). Probably my fault for not using it enough and letting it sit. All corners sharp, feet secure. Clean inside and out. Faceplate clean. Case right side has a streak of looks like dried on paint, otherwise clean. Plenty of information about this piece on the internet. Old capacitors included in shipment. Thinning out my inventory.

As with any electronic unit of this age, this item is sold AS-IS, but guaranteed not DOA. Not D.O.A. means that the unit is guaranteed to power on, but NO GUARANTEE is made as to the performance of the unit during future extended use due to possible shipping damage or mishandling

Good chance this will ship Fedex ground or Fedex Home Delivery as opposed to UPS, unless buyer specifies a specific carrier.
