The world-renowned Made in Japan Neo-Bizarre guitar, the OOPEGG Trailbreaker Special, has arrived.

This model features a vintage-inspired sunburst finish.

Boasting a look reminiscent of Italian Bizarre guitars, it combines overwhelming sound and playability—a guitar that could be called Neo-Bizarre. Named Trailbreaker, this guitar achieves a truly unique sound through meticulous Japanese engineering and carefully selected hardware.

The body, characterized by its distinctive shape, is crafted from mahogany. The neck features a 5-ply maple and walnut construction with a rosewood fingerboard. Despite its medium scale length, the headstock angle provides a solid tension feel.

It features a flat 12R radius with 22 medium jumbo frets. The neck shape is a Modern-D profile with moderate thickness, and the back is finished with a satin urethane matte coating for smooth fingering.

The 3-pickup layout contributes to its bizarre-like atmosphere. The pickups are Euphoreal Custom Mini HBx 3, delivering a wide range of sounds. The switching combinations are diverse, designed with modern usage in mind.

The controls are also highly unique. A 3-way pickup selector (Neck, Neck+Bridge, Bridge) is positioned for instant access at your fingertips. The Master Volume pot incorporates a Treble Bleed circuit. The Tone pots feature coil tap switches for both the neck and bridge pickups, allowing you to choose a single-coil-like sound via push/pull. Additionally, a 3-way mini switch enables center pickup ON/OFF (solo, mix, off).

The tailpiece features a Gotoh G5 Vibrato Unit, while the bridge employs a Gotoh GE104B. Both are highly stable hardware components.

Crucially, the sound retains the characteristic looseness common to offset guitars while achieving an unprecedented blend of the response, resonance, and precision typically found in high-end guitars. The clean sound is particularly overwhelming; you'll be surprised by tones unimaginable from its looks.
