San Dimas Style Charvel Dinky Snakeskin Guitar Body
Up for sale is an ultra-cool ABSOLUTELY KILLER Repro San Dimas Style Charvel Dinky guitar body by KnE Guitars! It has been professionally covered in Boa snakeskin vinyl. Body comes exactly as shown which includes single volume potentiometer, brass barrel knob, studs and inserts for Floyd Rose bridge, brass trem spring claw from Floyd Upgrades, black electrosocket brand output jack, and 2 brass screws for direct mounting of a long-leg base humbucker pickup.
In my personal opinion, the condition of this body is excellent, but realizing that condition ratings are highly subjective, I have deliberately chosen a lesser condition rating of good using Reverbs drop down menu options. Please view all of the photos as they are considered part of the description.
If you are looking to build the ultimate 80s rock machine, this body certainly fits the bill! It doesn't get any cooler than snakeskin in terms of a Charvel/Jackson 80s rock machine!!
Important Additional Info
1- The neck pocket route is for a Charvel/Jackson guitar neck which is 2.25 inches in width, which is standard Charvel/Jackson neck heel size. A vintage Fender style neck will not work with this body as its heel width is smaller.
2- The bridge humbucker route is designed for directly screwing a long-leg base humbucker into the body. Two small-diameter brass screws are included for this purpose (see photo of bridge pickup cavity route). The diameter of these screws is small so that you do not have to deface the base of you long-leg humbucker by drilling it out for large screws.
3- The body has been previously fitted for Jim Dunlop strap locks, so the mounting holes are there, but Jim Dunlop strap locks are not included as part of the sale.
