The Electro-Harmonix Green Russian Big Muff Pi Distortion/Sustainer is a reissue of the legendary 1990s Sovtek “Green Tank” Big Muff, long prized for its distinctive tone. Compared to other Muff variants, the Green Russian is known for:

• Thick low end that’s ideal for bass or down-tuned guitars.
• Gritty, mid-forward voice that helps it cut through a mix.
• Smooth sustain that makes it equally at home for leads or heavy rhythm work.
