After Fender applied a transparent finish to this guitar's ash body, it was sandblasted, leaving its surface grain pattern textured with parallel ruts and grooves. Its black grain-filler coat was then visible beneath the color finish coat, creating a one-of-a-kind surface topography — no two sandblasted instruments are alike. Beautifully complemented by a black pickguard, this Limited-edition Stratocaster is truly an exquisite instrument.
No-load tone control offers sonic purityThis Fender Limited-edition Sandblasted Stratocaster is incredibly responsive to its tone control, giving you the flexibility to fine-tune your tone. But if you turn its no-load tone controller all the way up to 10, then the tone circuit is actually removed completely from the signal path. You'll hit your amplifier with a hotter output and brighter tone than you'd get with normal tone circuits.
Fast-playing Modern "C" maple neckLeo Fender wasn't afraid to think outside the box when it came to guitar designs. In the 1950s and well into the 1970s, the blonde natural maple neck became almost synonymous with Fender guitars.
