It is with pleasure that I offer you once again one of these mustangs from the 60s. These are great small formats that represent very well the Fender lutherie of the time. This one has a 24 inch scale, an easy size to play and which allows easier positions to be achieved than on a classic 25.5 scale. Its general condition is very good. Nitrocellulose finish has cracked on the neck which is quite normal for an instrument of this age. No changes or modifications, there is even the small cover on the bridge. This guitar has an ES stamp under the pickguard, which means Entered Special, either a special order for a customer or a show, another commonly accepted possibility: a reassigned body, for example a mustang body that goes into musicmaster or duosonic. Unfortunately, the Fender archives being what they are, it is impossible to know today what happened during manufacturing. What we do know, however, and which is a bit of a cherry on the cake, is that the bridge pickup was wound by Abigail Ybarra, with her initials on it, which connoisseurs will appreciate.
Comes with its original hard shell case.
