Gibson Les Paul Standard - 1982 Limited Edition Candy Apple Red Ebony Fretboard #0226. Rare! Tim Shaw Pickups Norlin Era

You are looking at a rare Norlin era 1982 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Candy Apple Red metallic, with an ebony fretboard (extremely rare), gold hardware, and a slim taper neck, with Tim Shaw pickups. These pickups sound God-like! Best sounding Les Paul I’ve ever heard. Gibson produced only a small number of guitars in this model. #0226 of limited run. This is collectors grade. Reasonable offers will be considered.

The guitar shows very limited play wear. One small chip on cutaway area, otherwise this guitar is mint. For a 43 year old instrument, it’s in really fine condition.

Gibson’s first attempt at offering a 1959 reissue was the Heritage Elite Series. This limited run of Les Paul Standards was created using Gibson’s leftover Heritage Elite bodies. 

This guitar is highly sought after by collectors and they don’t come around often. Hard to find one in excellent condition. 

The guitar originally came in a chainsaw case. That case is no longer available, so we are offering a brown Gibson Lifton case, valued at $500.

The guitar is a beast weighing in at over 10 lbs. All original, no modifications, original frets, etc.
