A rare find, prized by Jazz guitarists - features a 16-inch all-laminated maple body with completely hollow construction. Unlike many archtops, it has no center block, allowing for natural acoustic resonance and sustain. The double cutaway design provides full fretboard access. It features a body width of 1 3/4” and weighs 6.45 pounds.
The guitar includes abalone binding and mother of pearl fretboard inlays, with a bone nut for optimal tone transfer. Hardware is professional-grade throughout.
The hollow body construction brings the acoustic character archtops are known for, in a more compact size, making it suitable for jazz, blues, fusion, country, and rock.
A couple of pickguard scratches and a tiny nick on the backside of the headstock (just under the high E tuner) are the only real notable imperfections. Neck has been professionally sanded and sealed by a luthier.
Comes with original Peerless hardshell case that has seen better days admittedly, but isn’t falling apart anytime soon.
