So here is my take on classic 6505+
This one was made in US.
Mods
Hardwire power tubes heater supply to the main board and to the power tubes board.
Move stand by switch before the rectifier.
Remove presence and resonance pots from rhythm channel and rewire lead pots to work with rhythm channel also.
Install sweep pot to shift the mids.
Install response pot to adjust negative feedback.
Add voice switch to shape the top end of presence knob.
Add mid boost to bump the mids.
Add bright switch for lead channel.
Tight up the front end of the preamp.
Reduce the gain on all channels to make more room for OD pedal and make clean cleaner. ( amp will have tons of gain - not a drastic change)
Bias mode to add more range to the bias pot and choke was installed
Exterior mod
New front grill
new tolex
All new hardware
New custom made aluminum top grill instead of old plastic one.
