Here’s another “Closet Queen” rescued and restored with care. This beautiful Alvarez 5031 dreadnought was made during the late 1970s or early 1980s and is in remarkably clean, almost mint condition. Alvarez has long been one of my favorite vintage brands for their superb craftsmanship and dependable tone, and this one is no exception.

It delivers the classic warm and full Alvarez voice, with clear mids, smooth trebles, and excellent balance across the register. Great for strumming or fingerstyle.
