About This Listing

Here’s an awesome All of the SG's best specs are here. The solid mahogany body offers up the big tone these guitars are known for. The solid mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Dual 57 Classic pickups pump out snarling sustain. A Tuneomatic bridge, Sidepull Vibrola and Kluson style tuners round out the hardware. The classic heritage cherry red lacquer finish is the most popular finish for an SG. One of the industry's biggest icons, no collection is complete without an SG!

This SG plays and sounds good. Straight, slim taper neck with nice action. The pickups sound good and the electronics work great. This is a nice, clean used guitar in overall EX condition. Well taken care of, it shows some light pick and clearcoat scratches and some light indents. Very nice. Comes in an aftermarket hardshell case.

The 61 SG reissue is probably my favorite SG in Gibson’s line. I can’t argue with the look of the small pickguard and vintage style vibrato. The tone is easily one of the most recognizable out there. Here's a nice example. BUY IT NOW and own a cool SG!
