The 6135 dual-pickup vibrato Corvette was updated in 1964 to feature a 2x4 headstock, replacing the original 3x3 headstock model. Produced as a single pickup non-vibrato model (6132/6133 Corvette), and a single pickup vibrato model (6134 Corvette).
In 1968 the vibrato changed from a Burns unit to a horseshoe Bigsby vibrato
