Paul Unkert Kramer Baretta 1986

Here is your chance to own a piece of Vanhalen history. This is an authentic 1986 Kramer Baretta made by Paul Unkert himself. For those of you who might not know, Paul Unkert was Eddie Vanhalen’s luthier in the early 80s and created several of Eddie’s guitars including the famous hot for teacher Kramer Baretta that sold at auction for over 3 million dollars. Paul gave this baretta the hot for teacher-like stripe job and built a few others like this one (7 known for sure) before Eddie asked Paul to stop making them. This baretta has an original floyd rose tremelo, custom Seymour Duncan MJ wound pickup with 16.4 K resistance, R2 locking nut, non marked Gotoh tuners, and Ernie ball 9-42 G strings (new as of 6/2025). All electronics are in perfect working condition. Super low action and perfect intonation. This guitar has seen minimal playing time and nothing, other than strings have been altered with it. Paint has no seal as Evh preferred his guitars, so the paint does have some blemishes and some fading. Body is poplar and neck is maple. Included in the photos is my text conversation with Paul Unkert himself confirming the authenticity of this guitar. Includes the original kramer hardshell case the guitar came with. Has one broken lock on it, but case does close and stay shut. Serious inquiries only and no low balling. This is the real deal and I know its value. This guitar is easily a $10,000- 20,000 guitar.
