Telecaster Partscaster, Havoc, Gotoh, Dimarzio

This is a fun tele build. Absolutely gorgeous flame maple top on a chambered mahogany body. The neck is wenge with stainless steel frets and feels great. Setup with low action… it plays and sounds fantastic.

This isn’t a Fender (obviously), but I don’t like plain headstocks. So I added the fender decal. It’s a vinyl stick and can easily be removed if you don’t like it.

The body is from Canadian Craftsman. Chambered mahogany with a satin finish. The only thing I did to it was contour the heel. My work is pretty good but not perfect. No other real flaws on the guitar otherwise.

The neck is from Havoc guitars. Nicely leveled and finished stainless steel frets with a 12 in radius. Medium to slim c shape. Pretty standard fender in feel. Again, action is low with little to no buzz. Plays great!

The neck pickup isn’t wired to the tone pot. That way it’s a touch brighter and you can control just the bridge pickup with the tone knob.

The combined sounds are especially great. This does the tele thing but with a bit more juice. And the neck humbucker gives a lot more tonal option. The Air Norton also splits wonderfully, so there’s a great neck single coin sound in here as well.

I’m really happy with how this one came out. I’ve just got too many guitars. So it’s time to move this one on. No gig bag but I’ll pack it safely.
