120th Anniversary Gibson Thunderbird IV.
- Body: Mahogany body wings with a neck-thru 9-ply mahogany/walnut neck construction.
- Neck: Rounded profile mahogany/walnut neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 20 medium jumbo frets, acrylic dot inlays
- Scale Length: 34".
- Nut: 1.5" White TekToid nut, carved with the Gibson PLEK system.
This model combines the classic Thunderbird aesthetic with a neck-through-body design for increased sustain and the punchy T-Bird Plus pickups for a powerful sound. The 120th Anniversary inlay at the 12th fret adds a special touch to commemorate Gibson's heritage.
- Pickups: Dual T-Bird Plus bass humbuckers (passive), with ceramic magnets for a punchy and clear tone.
- Controls: Two volume controls and a master tone control.
- Bridge: 3-point adjustable bridge.
- Hardware: Black chrome Grover tuners and a multi-ply white pickguard with a black Thunderbird logo.
