14” x 3.5” Tama Maple piccolo snare drum with high tension MPL23 lugs.
I am the second owner of this well cared for drum. Very clean- the clear coat finish is still smooth & shiny, the bearing edges are pristine, it is in-round, the strainer is smooth & well engineered. No rust or scratches. Clean, with a new Ludwig Medium coated head, original Tama snare wires. Triple flange hoops. The only minor issue (common to Tamas this age) is slight chrome pitting at the bend/crease of the batter hoop. See photos- in great condition.
Sounds full, & round. Has a pleasing ringy rimshot. Lugs & strainer oiled- tunes easily with an unusually large effective tuning range. Responds greatly to different head choices. One of my favorites- I only sell because I acquired the fancier Birdseye maple version.
If shipped- will be well padded & shipped in a strong box.
