Rare 2011 Soloway Gosling Single 15 S15 6-string electric guitar. Features Sitka Spruce top, 1-pirce hollow swamp ash back, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, master volume and tone controls, sycamore truss rod cover with inlaid logo and "Hipshot" tuners. Comes with high-quality semi-hard custom case/gig bag with carrying strap.

Jim Soloway, who retired in 2019, was known for building hand crafted, low-production, high quality, boutique level guitars. He retired from guitar building in 2012, although the company was recently resurrected in 2024 offering one model, similar in design to this one, which costs over 4K new.

This guitar was from the original production era and is truly a joy to play both in sound and playability! The most common Soloway (none of the Soloways are actually "common") guitar you will see from the original production run is the "Swan" which were long scale guitars. This guitar, as is the case with the other ”Goslings” has regular 25.5” scale length.

Has some small nicks and dings in the piano black finish, which as you can see in the pictures is quite reflective and still holds a high gloss.

Specs show this model weighs in at 6 lbs 11.5 Oz (although it came up a but lighter for me on a digital home scale). Along with the light weight the guitar has a nicely contoured body that fits the body very well that combined provide ease of play. Additionally, this guitar was ordered with “Finger Style” fretboard spacing, which is a bit wider (1 13/16” at the nut and 2 3/16” at the bridge) allowing for more space fretting cords and picking.

The prior owner had a pair of "Tone Specific" brand "Jmod" pickups (which run around 500 dollars a pair) installed (see pics) and they sound fantastic!

Taken to a guitar tech for a setup with fresh set of strings just before this listing was started. Will include a copy of the receipt for the work. Note: Setup preference is somewhat subjective and I am not responsible for reimbursement for cost of new strings or setup after buyer receives the guitar if the setup performed is not to the buyers liking (seems obvious but I have had buyers make such a request in the past after purchase!)

Will pack well in a guitar box with heavy-duty bubble wrap. Shipping will be signature required. No exceptions (except for local pickup, of course). Will take to shipper within 2 business days of receiving payment, although it can take an extra day or 2 for the item to ship out as they are occasionally backed up with other items. Local pickup is available at no cost and encouraged.

To provide peace of mind I am offering a 7-day return option. I will ask that it only be returned if found defective or not as described. Buyer pays for any return shipping.
