Hi guys,
A 1978 Fender Precision Bass, Made in USA.
In good condition considering it's 48 years old, sounds and play amazing!!! For a 48 years old bass it looks better than most of us lol....
I can provide any extra or any required pictures if needed however allow me 24 hours or less for that (got a day job here in sunny Cabo San Lucas, Mexico). I will provide tracking number for the shipping that will be insured of course. I can only ship it on Saturdays (my day off) if I can I will ship it asap or sooner than saturday but 100% for sure on Saturday.
Guys, I will ship the bass on fender bass case that is around the 2010's era bass cases in perfect condition for the trip.
The bass looks amazing with a real badass attitude and sounds incredible, a DiMarzio J style pickup was added at some point (wasn't me!!! I would never do that....) but worked great luckily, I've had that bass for 22 or 23 years and that pick up was already there when I bought it. I have no idea about pots/pickups/wiring etc etc etc, I'm not a luthier or expert but it works and it's ready to rock and roll. Unfortunately I do not have pictures or video of John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) playing the bass for the whole second set at the Todos Santos Music Festival organized by Peter Buck (R.E.M) at the famous Hotel California as I was drinking backstage with other great musicians, he (John Paul Jones) offered me 2K USD for it and I said "no thank you" as if that guy (LEGEND) played the bass and liked it I thought it was worth keeping right? Of course I should have said yes right there... He signed my Les Paul bass backstage though and I do have pictures of that.... No returns and sold as is...
Drop me a line with any questions, suggestions or comments and speak to you guys soon.
Kind regards from sunny Cabo San Lucas.
Cheers.
Cedric Kaelin.
PS: I usually offer free shipping worldwide however due to the new "tariffs" shipping to the US and Canada went from an average of 60 USD to 580 USD per guitar or bass so I´m forced to charge 350 USD for the shipping to both countries (USA & Canada) and I will pay for the difference and for the rest of the world I will have a 250 USD shipping fee. Sorry guys.... hang in there....
