Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Bass Special 2012 Rare

This is a Vintage Modified Telecaster Bass Special. This model with the true single cutaway telecaster shape and two pickups is the "Special". It's kind of rare to find them these days as they were only made a couple of years then discontinued. This one is from 2012. It is really well made, very solid. It weighs around 10 lbs and the scale length is medium. The neck is glossy and incredibly fast, plays fantastic. I believe it is all original except for the tuners and jack plate. The body has about six chips in the finish that appear to be touched up, and some scratches... I've indicated the rough spots in the photos highlighted in yellow. If I could afford to, I would have it professionally refinished and keep it. It is gloss black with a white pickguard (pickguard has aged over time and not as white as in some photos). The maple neck is just plain awesome. All electronics function perfectly. The neck pickup is a Fender Wide Range Humbucker and the bridge pickup is a Duncan Designed JB-102 Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickup. There is one volume, one tone, and a three position selector switch. Even with it's cosmetic flaws, it still looks nice and it's one of the best basses I have ever played (I've been playing for 50 years).
