Teufell “Birdfish”

Designed and built by Urlich Teufell

This is one of the first Birdfish guitars ever made. It has no serial number, and no chrome plating. Only a 5 of the polished aluminium versions were ever made, and they all shipped to japan in 1995/1996. The guitar is fully operational, but unfortunately the selector switch has no tip and a broken end. Spare tonebars and custom hand crafted original leather case are all included.
We have confirmation from Ulrich that this is one of the first few he made.

These guitars are played by some of the most influential guitarists in history: David Torn, Henry Kaiser, Hans Zimmer, Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, Page Hamilton, Kirk Hammett, Amir Derakh and many others.

It would be useful to visit the Teuffel website. I can't post the link here, but it's not hard to find. There you will find information on the elements of this guitar, too lengthy to post here. The Birdfish’s on the site at this time have only minor differences; the basic information is still valid. Grab a cup of coffee and check this out thoroughly. Very useful and interesting information about this unique guitar.
