Join the Ukulele Craze with your own Cigar Box Ukulele that you build yourself!

This is a complete, ready-to-assemble cigar box ukulele kit designed in the C. B. Gitty workshops to allow just about anyone to build a fun, easy-to-play concert-scale instrument. We have taken all of the guess-work out of it - every part and piece that you will need is included in the kit, and our fully illustrated 14-page assembly guide will walk you confidently through building your uke.

No other instrument has the bright, happy sound of a nylon-string ukulele, and now you can build your own. We have worked hard to create this kit in such a way that it is straightforward to assemble - only basic tools and woodworking skills are needed. You can do it!

The cigar boxes we supply with this kit vary in size, brand and style (the one shown in the listing photos is a good example of the size and style of box included in the kit). We guarantee that the boxes we supply will work just fine for building a cigar box ukulele.
