Greco Mirage M Series - Japan Vintage Guitar (Late 1970s)
Made in Japan, FujiGen Factory

This is a Greco Mirage, part of the original M Series, first introduced in 1978. It shares the same design as the iconic Ibanez Iceman, which was sold internationally by Hoshino Gakki. The Mirage and Iceman models from this era were essentially identical and manufactured by FujiGen. One of the most famous models in this series was the Paul Stanley signature Iceman, which gained global recognition. The Greco Mirage also became a popular model in Japan.

Specifications:

• Body: Mahogany
• Neck: Maple bolt-on neck
• Fingerboard: Rosewood, 22 frets
• Neck Pickup: Greco U-1000
• Bridge Pickup: Upgraded to DiMarzio USA (powerful tone)
• Tuners: Replaced (brand unknown)

Condition:

• The body has cosmetic wear and scratches due to age, but nothing that affects playability.
• The neck is straight and the frets are in good condition with plenty of life remaining.
• Electronics are fully functional.
• A leather case is included, but it has been custom-painted by the previous owner (see photos).

This is a rare and great-playing piece of Japan vintage history, combining unique styling with a powerful tone.
