A nice departure from the usual blonde finish of a Nocaster - this is a very cool Fender Custom Shop '51 Nocaster in Journeyman Relic Thin Skin black over an ash body with the added bonus of a quartersawn roasted maple neck. A piece of roasted maple carved to that chunky "U" shape? That's a piece of wood that's not going to shift much, if at all! The guitar has a modern 9.5" radius with medium jumbo frets and a pair of excellent soundind Custom Shop Twisted Tele pickups!
