You probably know!
The SK30 is an incredibly versatile combination of organ, polyphonic synthesizer, string machine, plus (unlike the SK20) a single-VCO lead synth. Any combination of these can be played simultaneously or individually, and then mixed independently, leading to a virtually endless combination of textures.
In addition to all the expected parameters, the SK30 has extra features out the wazoo: ability to split keyboard, built-in tremolo, ensemble, and rotary fx, various sustain and decay options (even on the organ), a few built-in presets per section, and aftertouch on the solo synth.
I originally purchased this as a cheaper, more reliable alternative to a polymoog. While the two instruments certainly have their differences, the SK30’s tones felt as rich, varied, and organic. Exactly the right amount of air in the tone. Exactly the right amount of control vs surprise.
Craaaazy reluctantly selling to free up space and finances for another direction.
Hard to pick a single youtube to showcase this instrument, but I had to go w. this 30-minute exploration (posted w pics, and below).
Here are a few other shorter selects:
Showcasing bass: youtube.com/watch?v=Yb8e9GAfLhc
Showcasing organ: youtube.com/watch?v=b_hopPI7dyo
Just a nice patch: youtube.com/watch?v=DD7pGVM99Qw
Combo: youtube.com/watch?v=HgbZgP3WAvM
SHIPPING: Pickup encouraged, as the synth weighs over 50 lbs. But I am willing to ship it. I estimate shipping / professional packing at $225, and I'll cap it there (I'll pay anything over that). If it's less, I'll refund the difference.
