This awesome Silvertone was introduced in 1959 as one of the more affordable models in the lineup. It's very difficult to date these instruments but this model was only made from 1959 to 1963. As far as we can tell this instrument is all original, with the original DeArmond pickups sounding incredibly warm and clear. It has a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. There is noticeable wear on the instrument which is to be expected considering the guitars age, but the wear is mostly cosmetic. Except for one slightly bent tuning key and the glitter on the logo, this thing is a close to original as possible. We tried to get pictures of all of the imperfections.
