For sale is one used Arcam Alpha 7r integrated amplifier in good cosmetic condition and very good working condition. An integrated amplifier with sufficient functions condensed into a compact body. This is an excellent sounding amplifier with solid bass, a wide and open soundstage, with excellent midrange and vocals and a clean and clear top end.
The power supply section is equipped with a large toroidal transformer with high power efficiency, giving the Alpha 7R a continuous power output of 45 watts per channel into 8 ohms, with peak outputs of some 80 watts per channel into 4 ohm loudspeakers – ensuring the integrity of the sound at both normal listening levels and the highest volumes.
The Alpha 7 amplifier is also quite versatile. Two pairs of speaker outputs jacks for biwiring, one direct and the second switchable, plus a headphones socket, are included as standard. And with the capacity to accept up to six sources, plus a tape output and pre-amp output – you have the ability to expand and upgrade your system for years to come.
