Fender Musicmaster Bass Amp Chassis 1980 w/Hasserl Mods

Here's your chance to own the "poor man's Princeton" with all the necessary mods that make it a serious beast of a guitar amp--but now safe to play :) It's a VERY LOUD 12 watts, all handwired. My local amp tech removed the "death cap" in addition to two other modifications, commonly known as the Hasserl mods: one is the Volume/Tone mod to mimic the tweed Harvard, and the other is the Coupling Cap mod to fatten up the tone.

• Transformers are original.
• The hard-wired speaker wire has been replaced with a jack so that you can mount it in a head cabinet if needed, or experiment with different speakers (I'm selling the one I had in the amp, which sounds great)
• The 6V6 S power tubes are JJs and fairly new; the 12AX7 preamp tube is unmarked but sounds good
• Clips were added for the power tubes to keep them stable; preamp tube socket comes with a cover
• I'm including the chassis straps and mounting bolts

The chassis fits perfectly in a Black/Silverface Champ cabinet, FYI. Mojotone sells a 12" version of the cabinet as well as the standard 8" and 10", so you've got options!
