Extremely Rare Collectable Gibson SJ-300
The SJ-300 Rosewood Modern Classic is faithful to the time-tested perfection of the SJ-200, boasting a few more Gibson details, and sits at the top of Gibson's Modern Classic Super Jumbo series. It's generally considered a top-of-the-line acoustic. The SJ-300 Rosewood Modern Classic has a lustrous abalone rosette and crown inlays that grace a beautiful Indian rosewood body and mahogany neck. The SJ-300 Rosewood Modern Classic also features an ebony "Mustache" bridge and gold Grover Imperial tuners.
It also has incredible built-in Fishman electronics.
This particular instrument is one of the first of 40 ever made. It was hand-crafted in Gibson's Custom shop in March of 2006 and comes with a diploma-style certificate of authenticity. This is practically mint. It always stays in its hardshell case (included) and has never been gigged with; just occasional studio use.
Now no longer available; they sold for well over $4000 and are a solid investment. The SJ-300 is known for its full, resonant sound; truly crafted with the finest materials available and delivering unmatched tone and performance, the SJ-300 Rosewood Modern Classic is a top-notch Gibson guitar. As good as it gets!
