Perfect condition. Rarely played. comes with original case. Original owner.
Rick Kelly at Carmine Street guitars is a regular stop for guitarists in the know when they come to New York. He has made guitars for Lou Reed, GE Smith, Lenny K and many others. One of his secrets is that he uses vintage wood for his guitars (modern guitar makers are restricted by the wood they can use) which obviously can only be done when you are making guitars in small quantities. This gives them a special tone.
This is a fine example of a Rick Kelly telecaster. Beautiful gold finish in excellent condition.
Note: there are two hairline finish cracks on either side of the neck pocket. These are just superficial and does not affect playability. See photos.
