This, ladies and gentlemen, was the ultimate response of the Eastern bloc to the onslaught of Western pop and rock culture.
In the final years before the fall of the Berlin wall, Musima resorted to indeed finally giving the East German youth what it wanted so badly and had been denied for decades - a proper copy of the famous Western guitars which they only knew from pictures.
Musima, being good and thorough Germans, went to work and created a copy - but what a copy they made!
The guitar is a KILLER!
It has all the fine features of a vintage strat - fat brass block in the trem section, fine maple neck, rosewood fingerboard - absolutely awesome ~ 5kOhm alnico 5 single coils with silvery snap and twang; and, even better, instead of the rounded vintage fretboard of vintage US/japanese strats, it has some 12'' fretboard radius which makes it a buttery breeze to play.
it is in great condition, there are a few hazey scratches on the body, but overall a splendid instrument. Weight 4 kg - not exactly light, so if you have back pain, don't go for this one, but if you have no problem with Les Pauls for instance, go for it.
