Yamaha YAS-23 Alto Saxophone (Japan)

There is a reason this model of Yamaha is the most popular "student" horn of all time. They play amazing and rival many pro level horns. A student could buy this and never need to replace it with a pro horn unless they were truly becoming an elite saxophonist.

This one is in outstanding condition. It is well-adjusted and the pads are in great shape. Cosmetically, the horn is very clean and aside from a pencil point sized ding on the edge of the bell (pictured) and a couple minor lacquer scratches on the lower part of the horn, it is in just about as new condition as you will find a 23 model.

This is one of the newer YAS-23s that Yamaha made for a long time, and this one was made in Japan as I know many prefer. Every time I play one of these in this condition I wonder why I spent the money on a pro horn because I just can't tell any different in the tone and sound quality.

The horn is in excellent shape aside from a couple scuffs that Yamaha vinyl cases are known for getting.

Comes with mouthpiece, ligature, mouthpiece cap, end plug, and polishing cloth.
