Early 90s Mid-Century Modern Styled Tone King Continental Boutique Amp and Matching 2x12 cabinet. The rhythm channel is a classic fender blackface circuit with a quad of 6v6 output tubes. Somewhere between a deluxe and a super reverb. Very Touch sensitive dynamics with tons of sparkling overtones!! The amp has a built in reverb tank and tube powered tremolo. The lead channel is a higher gain side that emualtes a cranked fender tweed amp with an adjustable mid bite that can be shaped to sound like a more modern high gain amp. The half power switch allows for the amp to go from 40 to 20 watts. The 212 inch speakers were specially designed for the amp. Head and the cabinet are both remarkably lightweight for ease of transport and are constructed of Baltic birch plywood.

The amp was just recently serviced and has a clean bill of health and is ready for another 35 years of action.

This amp has really been babied over the years and it really shows the entire thing is in extraordinary condition with just the slightest aging to the off-white Naugahyde and a few indentions to the top of the cabinet from the rubber amp feet. Other than that, everything is impeccable.

In my opinion, this is rarest and most interesting color combination that was available for this flagship amp when it was launched over three decades ago.
