A beautiful sounding and playing vintage Hamer Special guitar from 1981. Has the sought after checkerboard headstock logo. Good weight at 8.14 lbs. on my home scale. The guitar is all original as far as I know, with the exception of the ebony tuner knobs that have been installed. The original tuner knobs are included. The original frets still have lots of life in them. No breaks or issues, but there is natural finish wear and just a few dings throughout. The original Dimarzio PAF style pickups are magical. Has original Hamer sustain-block bridge. Comes with the original case which is clean. Vintage Hamer Specials are hands down the biggest bargain in guitardom. You won't find a better USA-made, hand-built guitar for the money.
