This is a very nice Buffet R13 clarinet in Bb. Buffet has been making the R13 as their flagship model clarinet for decades, and if you are looking for an R13, we definitely recommend buying vintage. It is much more economical (compare to a new R13 at over $4700!) and moreover, if the wood hasn't cracked by now it isn't likely to do so in the future. This can be a bit of a dice roll with a new clarinet.
This instrument (circa 1961) is in excellent condition. The wood is very good, and has no cracks or repaired cracks anywhere. Finish on the keys shows some minor wear. This instrument has just had a complete overhaul by our clarinet specialist and plays GREAT with all new corks and pads. Comes with both 63 and 65 barrels and Protec case.
