Handmade clone of the vintage Colorsound Fuzz Box, a thick, full-spectrum fuzz that uses a pair of silicon BC108 and BC109 transistors, like those found in Fuzz Faces of the era. The gain is fixed and one knob controls output volume. Enjoy the same chunky, fuzzy goodness of the original, now with the modern conveniences of a small enclosure, true-bypass switching, LED and 9V DC power.
In addition, I've added the tone control circuit from the Ram's Head Big Muff Pi to this pedal so you can shave off highs or lows for extra versatility. This mod reduces the max output volume a bit compared to the stock Fuzz Box, but there is still plenty of room past unity gain since it's an already loud circuit.
