This listing is for a very rare Vintage 1980's Fender Gold String Tree-String Retainer. This string tree is vintage and is an original Fender part and not a reissue or aged relic part. As best we can tell this gold is from the 1980's and would have been on a gold Smith Stratocaster.
The part is in good shape and fully functional. There is normal wear and oxidation.
