Tama - 14x13" Superstar, Converted into a Floor Tom, 1980's - Wine Red
Oh man, where do I start with this one. This drum started out as a mounted rack tom a rack tom, then was converted into a floor tom, upside down. The restoration "expert" who did this modification just turned the drum upside down and used the original tom mount as one of the leg mounts, then added two more mounts One of the mounts is noticeably crooked. There are scratches on the exterior, and some etched information above and under the upside down badge.. But hey, the interior looks great and it sounds fantastic! It's obviously not for a collector and priced accordingly. It's just a great sounding Superstar tom with a funny story.
