– For your consideration is this vintage 1963 Mosrite The Ventures Model MK I electric solidbody guitar.
– This incredibly rare instrument, serial number 0148, is in 100% all original condition with the original brown alligator hard case and era appropriate white leather strap.
– While it is likely Mosrite used a sequential serial number scheme, there remains only 32 documented Mosrite side jacks in this highly desirable configuration. This guitar is already included in the aforementioned production totals, documented here.
– Once again, this ’63 Mosrite side jack is in 100% all original condition. The original Centralab pots are stamped “134 6349.”
– Highly well preserved, this is an issue-free Side Jack Vibramute Type 1 is excellent cosmetic condition. There are no cracks, no breaks, no repairs, no finish issues, and not a single screw changed: this is a high level collector’s grade specimen.
– It works perfectly and sounds wonderful. The neck pickup measures 13.63 kOHm while the bridge pickup measures 11.92 kOhm. Both are robust and beautiful sounding with superb fidelity.
