RATTLESNAKE CABLE is a handmade cable brand based in Montana, USA.
The founder, Hank, is an electronics professional who has always been involved in effects and instrument repair.
He is also a guitarist himself, and he had a problem with muddy sound through his cables.
The reason for this is that the cable itself acts as a capacitor.
For example, the cable itself creates a state where the tone knob is slightly turned down.
He used a material called Oxygen Free Bare Copper (OFBC).
OFBC is called high-purity oxygen-free copper, and it ensures a very wide sound output range.
He also knew that cables with weak strength and susceptibility to noise would be useless during hard stage work.
To ensure this, the shielding section, which protects the signal from noise, is made of hard, strong copper braided into the cable.
The outside is protected by a mesh for ease of use and to avoid the frustration of tangled shielding.
Neutrik professional grade plugs were chosen for the top quality plugs for this cable.
The cable for the signal, the shield to protect the signal, and the plug to carry the signal are all high-class professional stage cables.
The sound is still characterized by a wide range of high frequencies and an overwhelmingly fast rise time.
