FOR AUCTION: Martin 0-28 Ian Anderson Signature Model.
Number 55 of only 87 ever made, this stunning, Limited Edition reproduction of a 19th-century Martin with wonderful modern touches, made at the behest of Ian Anderson of the ever-fabulous Jethro Tull, is unique. Based on Martin's original 0-28 model made from the 1870s though the 1920s with traditional 1-7/8” nut width, it has the herringbone top inlay and back center-strip of the originals, plus about the nicest, rarest, early-19th century mother-of-pearl rosette that I’ve ever seen. It is X-braced of course, and comes with two special saddles, both compensated and uncompensated, so that it can be strung with either steel or nylon. It has a factory-installed pickup, is a truly unique instrument, condition of this instrument is near-mint.
Instrument will be shipped in a Custom Made Ameritage Gold Series guitar case with humidity control system and digital hydro meter.
Instrument will be pro packed, insured and shipped via Fedex Ground Shipping Service for a flat rate of $50 to any US Lower 48 verified shipping address.
