Master Luthier Ron Ferguson personally selected the special quilted mahogany back and sides. Beautiful Honey Burst finish on the solid Sitka Spruce top with abalone rosette and diamond inlay, with Madagascar Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Without question, the J-45 is one of the most beloved acoustic guitars in the history of modern music, and the icon of Gibson's round-shoulder dreadnaught acoustic line since its introduction in 1942. This J-45 is a celebration of the original. Combining vintage appointments with several modern features, the J-45 delivers the renowned tone of classic J-45s, while adding refined finishes that complement its fundamental design. This guitar is in excellent shape with 2 finish checks on the top, pickguard marks, a few minor indents and marks and a broken case latch, rated at 9/10. All original with a strap button added and free of any breaks, cracks or repairs.
