Very nice replica model of an Ampeg Dan Armstrong guitar.
This is an older one that's been around for a while (I've owned for about 7 years) and the quality is very good, not one of the barely-playable "wall hanger" knockoffs that hit the market from time to time.
Acrylic body with maple neck & rosewood fretboard. The back of the neck was originally glossy, but I scuffed with ScotchBrite it so it's got a really smooth satin finish now.
The pickup is a Guitar Fetish Bigmouth high output humbucker that sounds amazing in the solid acrylic body. Tone and volume pots are also from Guitar Fetish, and the “pickup selector” switch is wired as an on/off kill switch.
Super fun to play, super cool to look at and and sounds mean. It weighs a lot because of the body, but it's balanced and hangs just right with no neck dive.
This guitar is in perfect condition, has only been used for occasional recording and has never left my home studio.
No hard case, but I'll include a padded gig bag. It fits nicely in any standard rectangle case that a Strat or PRS would be comfortable in.
