For sale is a case made for GUILD by TKL, one of the leading hardshell case manufacturers since 1984. Other companies that used TKL include Martin, Gibson, Gretsch, ovation, Yamaha, Tamanini, Collins and ESP. My Research found two Guild catalogs indicating that the version of the logo on this case was used in the mid 1980s. This case is for a large jazz box or dreadnought guitar. The photographs show the essential dimensions.
This vintage case is in very good condition, despite its age. It is structurally sound, all of the latches and hinges are fully functional and the mounting screws are tight. There are no odors from smoke or any other sources. No lifting of the tolex but there are very small divots I chose not to touch up with a sharpie so they can be seen by you. There is one wear spot in the case I have circled in red on the handle side. I purchased a non-Guild guitar years ago that came in this case. It was a bit too tight so the guitar has always been on a hanger and the case has been under the bed for decades.
Will be carefully packed and shipped in a guitar box.
